Strongest A2 Postal Tubes - Manufactured in the UK
The usual size Postal Tubes used for A2 posters & artwork etc are about 448mm long x 50mm diameter or 17.5" x 2” and a 1.5mm wall. These tubes provide a good degree of protection and a reasonable size diameter to prevent curling of the contents.
However, we also offer 19” x 2" A2 postal tubes as a slightly longer length for oversized A2 items. We can also produce them in narrow diameter and wider diameters.
38mm diameter A2 postal tubes are popular for certain items but their narrower diameter can lead to undesirable curling of the product. For those wishing to reduce curling to an absolute minimum our 3” & 4” diameter A2 cardboard postal tubes are a useful alternative.

Tips When Buying A2 Postal Tubes
When purchasing postal tubes for your A2 documents there are a couple of things to bear in mind to ensure your items are properly protected.
- A2 postal tube sizes are based on you rolling your documents on the short side, NOT lengthways.
- Always remember our postal tubes are manufactured slightly longer to allow a little extra length for the end caps to be pushed into the postal tubes... as you don't want to crumple the edges of your A2 size documents when sealing your tubes.
- Where possible staple your caps or plugs in place to provide added security to your postal tube's contents.
- Our 448mm A2 mailing tubes are just under 450mm length meaning they have the benefit of qualifying as small parcels under Royal mail size based pricing.
